The AG-UKE is Fishman's famous AG-series under-saddle pickup designed especially for the Ukulele. Voiced for nylon strings, .094" pickup width, under-saddle installation. Includes endpin jack.
Most ukulele pickups are designed as stick-on body transducers, which tends to emphasize midrange tones, resulting in a somewhat hollow, boxy sound, with plastic, plinky sound and lack of string definition. Using the AG-UK undersaddle pickup helps to avoid the midrange emphasis that a body transducer can produce, resulting in a much brighter, sweeter sound with excellent string definition and clean, tight response. A preamp is recommended with this pickup, but not required.
