Allen and Heath GigaACE 128x128 96kHz audio interface card for digital

Regular price $2,290.00

Tax included.
dLive provides 3x I/O Ports on the MixRack and a further 2x I/O Ports on the Surface. All are 128x128 channel capable at 96kHz and independently assignable, contributing to the over 800 system inputs and 800 system outputs available in a single dLive system.

When equipped with a M-DL-ADAPT multichannel interface, the I/O ports are compatible with most of the existing iLive / GLD audio networking cards, covering all industry standard protocols including Dante, Waves SoundGrid, EtherSound, MADI and Allen & Heath's own ACE.

The Allen & Heath proprietary ACE™ (Audio and Control over Ethernet) link offers a cost effective point-to-point connection up to 120m over a single CAT5 cable for 64 channels of very low latency bi-directional audio plus network control. ACE™ is the primary iLive fixed format Surface to MixRack link.

M-ACE is one of a range of digital audio networking options available for iLive, dLive and GLD to enable integration with other systems, digital mic splitting and system expansion. It can be fitted to the Port B expansion slot in iLive fixed format MixRacks (iDR-16, iDR-32, iDR-48, iDR-64) or expander (xDR-16), Port A/B in iLive modular MixRacks (iDR0, iDR10) and Port A of iLive modular surfaces if they are fitted with the new RAB-2 standard. It can also be fitted to the I/O Module expansion slot in a GLD mixer, and to any I/O Port on a dLive system when equipped with a M-DL-ADAPT interface.

The card provides two ACE™ ports. Port 1 is the main link. Port 2 can be configured either as a mirror of the outputs appearing on port 1 to split signals to a second device, or as a second connection for redundant backup. The iLive NETWORK port can be linked to the ACE card using the short CAT5 cable provided to bridge control over the same cable as the audio.

DLIVE AUDIO NETWORKING CARD
The gigaACE audio networking card (M-DL-GACE) is one of several audio networking options that can be fitted to any Allen & Heath dLive I/O Port. It provides a 128x128ch 96kHz gigaACE point-to-point link to another dLive mixing system.

gigaACE is Allen & Heath’s proprietary protocol for transporting Audio and Control over Ethernet, using standard CAT cables. It allows very low latency and cable redundancy without any audio dropout. gigaACE can also tunnel the dLive TCP/IP control network over the same connection, for example to enable control of either of the two systems by a single laptop.

The gigaACE card offers a cost-effective and simple solution for digital split applications, replacing the copper multicore / analogue splitters of the past. In a typical FoH / Monitor configuration, the inputs of a dLive system are sent to a second system where independent trim, processing and mixing is applied.

gigaACE is a truly plug ‘n play protocol: no computer is required for the setup of gigaACE connections. Simply plug the cable between any two dLive systems and set the patch and clock settings directly on the mixer.
