Rare New Zealand-made guitar, same guitar features in Te Papa's collection.
This guitar was likely made in 1961 as part of the first production batch as the serial number is #382. This model was highly prized for its unique, localized construction. The guitar's body was carved out of salvaged New Zealand Kauri and the neck from Nelson white birch.
Scratches, marks and general wear and tear throughout. Comes with the hard case, warranty card, strap & lead from original purchase.
