Rico Reserve Classic Clarinet reeds in strength 4.0 are designed with a medium blank taper for greater flexibility, and a gradual tip radius for tonal warmth and quick response and articulation. There are 10 highly consistent reeds in each box.
Rico Reserve Classic reeds have been designed for clarinetists by clarinetists in collaboration with Mark Nuccio, Acting Principal Clarinetist of the NY Philharmonic, and offer the perfect combination of flexibility and projection. Like all Reserve reeds, only the lower sections of each cane pole are selected - a technique Rico has pioneered that yields the highest-density cane available, resulting in a greater consistency from reed to reed.
